A superb pair of Bing and Grondahl Copenhagen plates. Gilt lined, with armorial for the GRAF (COUNT) VON PLATTEN-HALLERMUND. The family seat was Schloss Weißenhaus a castle in Wangels, Schleswig-Holstein, Germany. Motto "Constans Vivit Post Funera Virtus". Virtue lives on after death.
Measure approx 11 inches across. The castle & estate were restored recently at a cost of over 70 million Euros.
Perfect condition. Circa 1962-1970.
