Prince George, son of King George V. Brother to King George VI and Prince Edward ( abdicated as Edward VIII ).  Perhaps the most artistic, able and gifted of his siblings,he followed the wayward path of his elder brother, Edward. Tall, handsome with blue eyes, a sucession of ill advised realtionships filled the time of the Prince desperate to find a role.

He followed a career in the Navy, at the request of his father, which he loathed and ended abruptly. A pilot and style icon of his time, a succesful and popular marriage to an eligable Princess drew attention away from his embarrasing and potentially damaging past.  He took a role as a factory inspector which earned him respect from the public and the title of 'The Peoples Prince'.

During 1942 he was involved in a secret wartime mission to Norway. Tragically, the plane crashed and all but one perished. Like Princess Diana, there are many conspiracy theories about the accident.
