Pair Chamberlains Worcester BARON ROTHSCHILD
A very intersting pair of Chamberlains Worcester plates, with
elaborate gilded borders.
These bear the crests of the ROTHSCHILD family.
Made for Baron ROTHSCHILD. Circa 1840.
The Austrian Baronecy was authorised for use in the United Kingdom
by Queen Victoria in 1838.
Measure approx 10 Inches wide.
The plates show some typical crazing, and fading to cream.
There is a tight haircrack to the well of each, and one has a tiny chip
to the scroll edge. Ring well. Overall, given the age, the gilding in particular,
is in excellent condition. Very impressive pair and quite modern
looking for their age.
