A superb pair of elegant early 19th Century English porcelain soup plates. Monogrammed. Fine condition, slight wear. One with haircrack to centre. Measure approx 9 Inches wide.
Perhaps Naper of Meath, Loughcrew estate, Ireland. Destroyed by fire twice. The second house was designed by Charles Cockerel in 1821. A phoenix rising from the fire would be a most appropriate crest.
