Material:        Bone china Porcelain.

Date:             Circa 1820.
Dimensions:   Approx 9 Inches wide.
Condition:      Excellent condition, one plate with fine crack to centre.

                      Minor wear.  

 

DESCRIPTION

 

A superb pair of elegant early 19th Century English porcelain soup plates. Monogrammed. Fine condition, slight wear. One with haircrack to centre. Measure approx 9 Inches wide.

 

 

 

MORE DETAILS

Perhaps Naper of Meath, Loughcrew estate, Ireland.  Destroyed by fire twice. The second house was designed by Charles Cockerel in 1821. A phoenix rising from the fire would be a  most appropriate crest.
