A well painted Paris armorial plate with the HERRERA family coat of arms from Spain and Cuba.
Herrera translates as "son of blacksmith'. You can see the gold cauldrons on the arms.
Measures approx 8.5 Inches wide.
Perfect condition.
The medals are:
knight of the Order of Carlos III and The Order of the Fleur de Lis of France.
Probably made for: Don José María Herrera y Herrera , 2nd Conde de Fernandina (1788-1863).
Or José María Antonio Esteban de Herrera y Garro, Herrera y Rissell, (Havana, Cuba, September 3, 1829 - 1916 ) 3rd Conde de Fernandina .
